Alcor JFTOT 230 III then next generation of jet fuel analysis allows for faster, simpler testing. With a much decreased footprint, all of the test components are easily accessible from the instrument front with no heavy, cumbersome syringe pump or water trap. The JFTOT III is simple to install — just plug it in. Automatic test runs ensure fuel is purged with air, the sample test section is washed with sample and the test is initiated and run to completion without need of operator intervention. The built-in safety system automatically stops the flow of test fuel in the event of an O-ring leak or tubing break. Easy, menu-driven programming guides the operator through either standard ASTM D 3241 test or customized test protocols. Precise, continuous computer control of all test functions and operational parameters ensure accurate tests results with increased data collection and minimized operator time. The JFTOT III produces results equivalent to the JFTOT 230 mark II as required by ASTM D 3241 test method, critical equipment section, for the heater tube.
