Entry Level Bioreactor - 1, 3 and 5 L
The F0-BABY series comprise optimal entry level autoclavable fermenters/bioreactors for microbial and cell culturing bioprocessing activities in biopharma-, food- and agricultural- sectors, among others. The system provides a cost-effective and user-friendly alternative to the bigger and more complex equipment, being an ideal solution for R&D as well as training and education purposes.
Configurations available for Microbial or Cell Culture application.
Control of up to 3 F0 bioreactor with one Software package.
MODULAR DESIGN - Plug-and-play expansion hardware and software modules:
- ADVANCED GAS MODULE for automatic mixing of up to 4 gasses

Materials: Borosillicate glass (vessel), oher surfaces in contact with product: AISI 316L and EPDM
Heating: Heating blanket
Cooling: Circuit from external chilled water source to cooling finger (10°C)
Agitator: Top mounted, single mechanical seal
Impellers: 2 impellers (Rushton, Marine and other types available).
Agitation speed: 0–2000 rpm (0.37 kW)
Gassing standard: Air & O2, inlet through sparger (overlay optional)
Optional gas mixing with Advanced Gas Module: N2, CO2, etc.
Sensors included: pH, dO2, foam, temperature.
Optional sensors: Optical density, Redox, dissolved CO2, exhaust gas analyzes, etc.
Automatic control loops (standard): pH (acid/base dosing), DO and antifoam
User interface: ROSITA
Installation: External touch PC provided, connected to the BCU via Ethernet.
Remote access: Ethernet using VPN tunnel
